Adopt Guinea Pigs

Please Note: We only rehome guinea pigs in pairs or can bond your guinea pig with one of ours.

It is important to us that both you and your adopted guinea pigs are happy.

For this reason we have the following straight forward, but important adoption process:

  1. Please check you live in our Catchment Area at the bottom of this page.

  2. Please read and ensure you agree with our Guinea Pig Adoption Policy

  3. Please read and ensure you agree with our Guinea Pig Adoption Fee

  4. Complete our Online Application Form to get the ball rolling

  5. We'll then organise a home visit with you
  6. Then you can make an appointment to see the guinea pigs

Viewing Day

If you want to meet us and see some of the guinea pigs available then please come along to one of our Viewing Days. The next Guinea Pig Viewing Day is on Sun 21 Jan 2018, 2:00pm - 3:30pm

Guinea Pig of the Month

Iru Bru

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Iru Bru and I am a 11 month old male guinea pig. I was brought here to The Centre after my owner was ill and could no longer look after me. I originally arrived with my brother but we didn't really get on so now I would love to find another male guinea pig to be my best friend. I am nice boy, who is happy to be handled.

Borage

Hiya. My name is Borage and I am a 5 month old male guinea pig. I have been living here at The Centre since the 1st October 2017 after the children in my home had lost interest in me. I am a cute little boy but as I'm so young I would benefit from more handling. I would love to find my forever home with another male guinea pig I can bond with.

Irish Pie, Scottish Pie and Lemon Zing    *** Reserved ***

Hey there, I am Irish Pie and I am one of the tricolour piggies in the picture there and the other two are my brothers Scottish Pie (the other tricolour one) and Lemon Zing who is the white and ginger one. We are still babies at only 16 weeks old and we have been here at The Centre since November 2017 after our owner was unable to cope looking after us anymore. As you can see from the picture we are all very cute piggies and we do love each other so we would really like to all go to a new home together. We hadn't really been handled too much before we came here so we are still quite scatty pigs but we are slowly getting used to being handled and having a cuddle. We are very chatty piggies and squeak away when we know that veg is near us. If you think you could give us all a loving home please do consider us, I mean come on, look how cute we are :)

I am a friendly boy that would love to find a new loving home with another male guinea pig.

Manchego    *** Reserved ***

Hello, my name is Manchego and I am a year old black and white piggy. I arrived here at The Centre in November 2017 along with my friend but we kept fighting each other and so the staff decided it was best to split us before we hurt each other. So I am now looking for a new friend and a new home. I'm a cute little piggy and quite enjoy having a little stroke from you and I don't mind being handled too much. I hope I find my new home soon.

Powerade    *** Reserved ***

Hey there, my name is Powerade and I am a 1 year old tricolour male piggy. I have been here since September 2017 as my owner became ill and could not look after me any longer. I am a very sweet pig and a very chatty one too, if I hear there's veg anywhere in the vicinity I will squeak and squeak until I get some. I am looking for a new friend to bond with so I can go off to my new home, hopefully someone will pick me soon.

Soy Bean and Pinto Bean

Hello everyone my name is Soy Bean and this is my brother Pinto Bean, I am the black and white piggy and Pinto Bean is the tricolour piggy. We are both 2 years old and have been here at The Centre since September after our owners were unable to keep us anymore. We are both very sweet piggies that are happy to be handled. Unfortunately I have a mass near my kidneys and there is nothing the vets can do about it but it means I will have a limited life. I really hope someone will pick us soon so I can live out my days with a loving owner.
