About Me
Hiya, my name is Niklaus, I’m the handsome brown boy and this is my beautiful friend Hensley who is a female. I am 9 years old and Hensley is 8.
We arrived at the centre in December 2021 after our owner was sadly taken into hospital and unable to care for us anymore. It didn’t take long for the staff to immediately fall in love with us.
We are both extremely affectionate and love nothing more than a lap to sit on, so you can give us the fuss we deserve. We both have a gentle nature and love each other very much!
The reason we have been at the centre for so long is that we had a couple of medical issues that needed investigating to work out the best treatment for us. Hensley has diabetes and needs to be fed on a raw diet as this is high in protein and will help to control it. I suffer with dry eyes and so I have some drops daily, but I’m a good boy at having them. We are both on part foster for our issues. The staff will be happy to discuss these things further with you if you are interested in us.
We can’t wait to now find a forever home. It is very unlikely that we have ever been outside, so we wouldn’t like to be homed on or near any busy roads.
