About Me

Hi there my name is Joelle and I am the gorgeous, little, 8 year old, white girl you can see. I arrived here at the centre in April 2021 as I was becoming very stressed in the home due to living with young children and the house being quite busy. I am a sweet little girl who loves attention and a fuss; I will roll around on my back showing off my belly for attention! Although I am such a sweet girl I do have a sassy side too; sometimes I love attention but equally I do enjoy my own space so I may hiss at you or swipe out when I would like to be left alone, but I don’t mean it in a nasty way. I can be a bit of a shy girl at times too but I do grow in confidence once I get to know you and then I love sitting on your lap for cuddles. I am looking for a quiet home where I can settle in my own time and be able to relax in peace. You may not be able to see from my photo but my fur is very thin/bald around my back end and under my tummy, this is where I was becoming so stressed in my previous home I begun over grooming and pulling my fur out. The vets here at the centre had given me some medication to help settle my skin back down and I will be covered under a part foster basis for my skin so if I need to come back to see the vet or need any more medication in the future to help with this issue then the centre will cover this. However the vet thinks once I settle in my new home and become happier again then then my skin will improve and hopefully will completely clear up. I cannot wait to find my forever home soon; I really am such a lovely girl.

*Temporary 6 month part foster – skin*
