About Me
Hi everyone! That handsome tabby male on the left there is me Norm and I am 7 years old and this is my best pal Noreen and she is 6 years old.
We arrived at the centre in April along with lots of other cats and kittens as our owners had too many of us to care for.
We are the most loving pair of cats you could ask for! We generally are just amazing! We both equally love to be in your company and get lots of fuss and love from you, we just love people! I’m a very needy boy for fuss and I’ll follow you about and get in your way to make sure you give me all the attention. If I don’t think you are paying me attention, I’ll give you a cheeky little soft nip to remind you I’m there! Noreen loves the fusses too and she will be all over you as quick as she can, getting all the head scratches and cuddles that she can get and she’ll probably even climb up onto your lap. She’s an angel who deserves all the love in the world. I also love to play! If you throw me a ping pong ball, I’ll be running straight after that and whacking it all about, ping pong balls are my fav thing.
When we arrived we were very poorly with cat flu, but with some antibiotics and lots of tlc from the staff here, we are now doing so much better. Because we were both so poorly we have been left with chronic rhinitis, Noreen is affected with it much more than me. You’ll notice this when you meet us as Noreen’s breathing sounds quite loud and wheezy and she may be quite snotty. I also sometimes suffer with weepy eyes. We are both used to this now though and don’t let it bother us, as it is just us! But it is likely we will need medication on and off for these things so we’ll need a confident owner who is happy doing these. We will both be covered full foster by the centre, so any future medication or treatment we need they will cover that cost.
We would need to be the only pets in the home, but would be ok living with just slightly older children. We are such gorgeous cats and we can’t wait to find our forever home and hope people are not put off by our health issues as we make up for it with all our love.
