About Me
Hi there, my name is Speckle and I am that pretty 10 year old tabby and white female.
This is sadly my second time at the centre. Firstly I arrived as a stray in 2014, then I found a very loving home but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. The home was too stressful which lead to behavioural changes and weight loss. You see, I wasn’t keen on being around children, I didn’t like other cats in the neighbourhood or changes to my environment. I just prefer a quiet, stress free life. So heartbreakingly, I was returned in February this year so I could find a forever home that I would feel happy in.
I am a really sweet little lady who does enjoy fusses and a good cuddle, I have really grown in confidence since being back at the centre and you’ll hear me purring before you see me! I love to have a fuss made of me and will be making puddings on my blanket waiting for my fuss! I have so much love to give and the staff adore me!
I am looking to be homed in a quiet household without any other pets or children, so I can live a quiet life. I am a homely girl and with my spine issues I do prefer to stay in my nice warm bed so I won’t wander too far!
I do have arthritis in my spine and am currently getting monthly pain relief injections so I will be on part foster for this. Due to my arthritis I do struggle to fully get into my litter trays so can sometimes have accidents, the staff have found the solution to this though – puppy pads and special litter trays! The staff will discuss this with you in more detail if you are interested in me! Please don’t let this put you off as I am such a sweet girl and do try really hard to not have accidents, but it’s not my fault!
Will you give me a chance?
