About Me
Hey there my names Thorn the handsome black and white boy and this is my sister Ursa, we are both just over 9 years old and look pretty similar however I have a black nose and quite a bit bigger than my sister.
We are both very lovely cats but are a bit nervous to begin with and Ursa will be a bit rude and hiss at you but just ignore her she is lovely really. We both love lots of strokes and attention and if you sit on the floor with us and let us give you a little sniff it wont be long before we are both all over you, especially if you have something yummy for us to snack on!
We have both been at the centre a while now as I needed quite a big dental when arriving so that meant I had to be on some medication for a little bit but have now got the all okay to go to a home. Ursa had to have a bit more treatment than me as she was quite skinny and overgrooming when we first came to the centre and was also a bit stiff on her back legs, she was then put on a bit of pain relief and a better diet to help her put on a little weight and help her with her modility. She does need to stay on her medication in a new home and will be on part foster for this so the centre will cover the cost of any medication’s she does need but the vet team hope that this isn’t something she will need to be on long term.
We are a homely pair of cats who love to spend our days snuggled up in our beds, we would like to be the pets in our new home to stop Ursa getting too stressed but would be fine living with slightly older children who know when to give us a little space when we need it.
