Hi there my name is True and im 10 years and 10 months . I arrived at The Centre in January as the owners were moving and couldn’t take me with them.
Don’t let this grumpy face fool you I really am a sweet young lady, I can be a little shy around new people but give me a minute and I will soon fall in love with you! I love to have lots of head strokes and will even get all dribbly with excitement, I love being brushed as I am slightly fluffy and will even climb on to your lap to get closer to you.
When arriving at the centre I had quite sore skin and a lot of hair loss due to me being covered in fleas and having an allergy to them, I had to have a few steriod injections and flea treatment for this but am now much happier. It is important that my new owners keep on top of this with a vet proscribed flea treatment so it doesn’t return in the future. I did also have a small cyst on my side that the vet team wanted to remove as it was bothering me but I am now feeling much better with it gone, they did also discover that I have a Grade 2 heart murmur but that doesn’t require any treatment. I am looking for a home with no other pets so I can settle in, in my own time and get all the attention to myself. I would be okay living with slightly older children who will give me a little time to settle in but also give me lots of love when I’m ready. I’ve never been outside before so would love to finally have a big garden for me to explore.
