Our Charity Shops make an important contribution to our work both in terms of awareness and raising well needed funds to care for the animals we rescue. If you can Donate Goods for our shops that would be very much appreciated. Please also check out our Volunteer Opportunities if you are interested in helping us in the shops.
At all our shops we take:
- Clothing (Adult)
- Curtains, Cushions and Covers
- Good Condition small Furniture
- Kitchen Items & Gadgets
- Large Pictures
- Toys and Puzzles (500 or 1000)
- Jewellery & Watches
- Console Games and Records
- Full Bottles for our very popular bottle stall
- Good Quality Gifts for Raffles etc.
- Working Electricals
- Car Seats
- Cycle Helmets
- Knives
- Duvets/Pillows
- Small Picture Frames
- Computer Desks
- TV Stands
- Suitcases
At our East Wittering shops we also take larger furniture such as wardrobes and dining tables. If you have larger amounts of donations, please call us so we can arrange to get them stored well.
We ask you to be mindful of the condition of your donation as it is difficult for us to sell items with stains or our broken. It will cost the charity money to get rid of items if they don’t sell.
Retail Gift Aid
We are pleased to be now be able to offer retail gift aid in all our charity shops.
Retail gift aid is a free and easy way to make your donated goods go further. If you are a UK taxpayer and you donate to our charity shops, we can claim 25p extra for every £1 raised through the sale of your items.
To sign up for retail gift aid, simply ask in one of our charity shops for a form. Once you have completed the form we will give you your ID number, which you can use in any of our shops. Signing up for retail gift aid means we can do more with your donation without any extra cost to you
