Hi there, my name is KM54-24 the fluffy black and white boy and this is my sister KF56-24 and we are 7 months old!
We arrived at the Centre back in April as we were found with our mum as strays and the kind people who had been feeding us were concerned that we didn’t have a home. You’re probably wondering why we’ve been here so long! Well, when we first arrived we suffered with some diarrhea, this was fixed with some antibiotics so we were neutered and ready for our forever home but then it returned! This time Isospora Cysts and Tritrichomonas Foetus were discovered in our stools which are parasites that cause diarrhea in kittens. The team here are hopeful that we will grow out of this once we are 12 months old and we do have solid stools now! The staff can explain all this in more detail if you are interested in us! We will be on the centre’s part foster scheme for 2 years in case this comes back! Please don’t let any of this put you off as we are such sweet cats and really do deserve a home to call our own!
You will usually find us cuddled up together or perched by the door waiting for someone to walk by and give us some attention! I am the more confident of the 2 of us and love to chase my toys around the pen, bashing into things and making a bit of a mess! My sister can be a bit nervous at first and a bit unsure of strokes initially but she’s just shy you see, once you give her some fuss she’s a little purr machine! You see it can be quite a noisy environment here! She’s gotten so much braver recently and we both can’t wait to find our new home together!
We would need to be rehomed with no other cats and would prefer no dogs or a calm dog and children 6+ so they know we may need a little space to settle in!
