About Me
Hey there! My name is Kiara the stunning tabby girl on the right and this here is my big brother Mufasa, I am 7 years old and Mufasa is 9 years! We came to the centre in January as there was sadly allergies in the family.
We are both very sweet cats who like a fuss and Mufasa will be straight out to see you when you come to see us, I will usually stay at the back of the pen as I have had quite a lot of medication while being here at the centre so am a little wary of humans. I do love a fuss though so when you come to see me if you approach me I am very cute and will be leaning into you for more fusses.
Since being at the centre I have been struggling with loose stools, I have had so many medications and nothing seemed to be working but I am now on steroids and these seem to be slightly working! The vets suspect I have inflammatory bowel disease so I will never 100% be perfect but I am otherwise in good health so the vet team are happy for me to find a home! I will be on the centre’s part foster scheme for this, the staff can explain this in more detail if you are interested in us.
As I can be a little unsure to begin with the staff think its better for us to be rehomed as only pets and with children 6+ so they understand I may need a little longer to settle in. I am homely but Mufasa is a wanderer so we need to be rehomed away from busy roads so he can safely explore the outside again, he is also known to be a hunter so please be prepared for some presents!
