About Me
Hey, my names Kalvin the very handsome black cat who is 8 years old and this is my best friend Klein the ginger and white boy who is nearly 9! We came to the centre in March as our owner was moving and couldn’t take us with them.
We are both such lovely boys and have grown so much in confidence since arriving at the centre, when we both arrived I was extremely scared and would just lay with my head in the corner all day and would flinch anytime someone touched me but now I come running as soon as my door is opened and will rub aroud you for a stroke, I can still be a little shy around lots of people but I am getting much better. My bestie here has always been the braver one out of the two of us and loves all the fuss, he’s much more confident than me and even goes out of our pen to explore and say hello to everyone!
We have been here a while now as I wasn’t in the best condition when I arrived as I was very skinny and needed a bit of TLC, it was discovered that we both have heart murmurs and I also had some crackling in my lungs so both needed to go for scans but the vets wanted to wait until i was feeling better in myself before sending us off. We have now had our scans and the vets are really happy with us and dont think there is anything to worry about and that the crackling was scaring from a previous infection, they would like to rescan our hearts in 6 months to make sure we are still good. We will both be on a 6 month foster for this and if there are any problems the vet team here at the centre will take care of us.
We would love to find a nice quiet home to call our with owners who are willing to give us lots of fuss and attention to help us become to super confident boys we want to be. We are used to living withdogs in our previous home so would be fine to do so again and would prefer slightly older or no children in the home as I can still be a bit nervous around loud noises or groups of people.
