About Me
Hello! My name is Angel and you guessed it I am the most angelic girly at the whole centre! I am a beautiful black and white girl who is nearly 9 years old. I came to the centre back in 2017 as I was a neuter return so was only here breifely but was sadly returned in January as I had been found living as an injured stray.
I really am such a loving young lady who adores attention and will come running straight up to you for a snuggle, I miss being in a home a lot so love having someone to come in to see and will get straight up on your lap giving you kisses and if your lucky I will even lay in your arms like a baby.
I have been at the centre a while now as the staff noticed when I arrived that I had quite a unique leg that bends at the elbow and means I walk with a slight limp, I had an x-ray and it showed I have some muscle wastage around the joint so makes it a bit uncomfortable when using it so I do have to take some pain relief for this but I am such a good girl with this. I was also drinking a lot when I came in aswell so I had to have a few tests to see why that was, it was then discovered that I was diabetic, I now have to have two injections a day to keep this under control but I am now so much happier, not drinking too much and my weight is now back to normal! I do still need a few vet checks before I go home but hopefully it wont be long before I can go.
I would love to find a family to call my own and hopefully someone that is around a lot to keep me company, I am used to living with other cats and young children so would be happy to do that again. I would need someone who is gentle with me as I can be a bit fragile on my leg so can’t do lots of running and jumping. As I need injecting twice a day I would need an owner who is comfortable with this and possibly someone who has had experience doing this prevouisly if not the staff can show you. I’m hoping as I am missing a home and getting lots of attention it wont be long before I find my forever home.
