About Me
Hello, I’m Ernest the handsome black cat who is 6 years old. I came to the Centre in March as my owner had become poorly and could no longer keep me.
I am finding life extremely scary at the Centre and have been grumpy towards the staff, I was a friendly boy in my home and even used to snuggle up in bed with my owner so the staff can tell I am very stressed. I had to be split from my friends when I came to the Centre and it really upset me so I would like a cat friend in my new home to build my confidence and help me settle in. I no longer spit and swipe at the staff but I will still give them a hiss if they get too close to me but I am slowly becoming calmer. I am eating well now, which is a good indicator that I am slowly adjusting to Centre life!
I would need to go to a home with no children as I am a bit grumpy around people currently. I would love to find an owner with lots of patience who is willing to give me as much time as I need to come round and be the friendly boy I once was.
