About Me
Hello everyone, my name is Mabel and I am the torti and white girl and I’m just over 9 years old. Here with me is my friend Tali, she’s the pretty tabby lady and she is just over 10 and a half years old.
We came to the centre back at the start of May as we weren’t getting on with the dogs in the home of our late owner’s daughter’s house.
I’m finding life at the Centre very scary so I spend most of my days hidden behind my blanket, but I’ve grown in confidence recently and have started to come out for strokes and treats! I may hiss at you to begin with, but once I’m used to you I will show you my affectionate side! It’s just not the normal environment I’m used to you see, and I’m confused as to why I’m here! Tali is braver than me and you will find her sitting on our windowsill watching the world go by. The staff are sure once we get back into a home, we will get back to being the friendly girls we were previously in our old home.
We both can’t wait to get back into a loving home and feel happy and settled again. We’d like a nice, calm, quiet home where we can find our feet again in our own time. We would be ok to live with another cat, but older or no children would be best to help us settle in.
