About Me
Hello! My name is Morrissey and I am that handsome grey and white boy you can see there. I am 1 and a half years old I and came to the centre in June as I wasn’t getting on with the new baby.
I am a very affectionate lad who loves to have everyone’s attention on me! I love a fuss and I am always waiting at my door when people come past hoping they’re going to give me some strokes and lots of love.
One thing you may notice about me is my eyes! When I arrived at the centre it was noticed that I had some marks on my eyes and after further investigation it was discovered that I had a corneal seqestrum in my left eye and had to have my 3rd eyelid stitched across. I then also had to have an entropion surgery on my eyes as my lower eyelashes were turning in and causing me issues!
I am now on the mend but I do still have a seqestrum in my left eye and I am still on eye meds for this but I am such a good boy having them that I won’t be any trouble. I will be covered under the center’s part foster scheme for this and they will supply the medication, also I do need to see the vet at the centre in 4 weeks time for a check up. The staff can explain everything to you in more detail if you are interested in me.
I love the other cats here at the centre so they staff would really like if I could be rehomed with other another cat and I would also be happy to live with dogs but would prefer older children as I didn’t like the baby in my previous home. Due to my eyes I need to be rehomed to a very quiet area and be kept in at night!
