Hiya! My name is Skips, the white, tan and black girl, and this is my best friend Quaver, the brown and white girl and we are 8 and a half years old. We arrived at the centre just before valentine’s day 2024 after no one was able to take care of us anymore.
We are both lovely and friendly girls. We may not come hopping over to greet you straight away, but we’re always pleased to see you and will happily sit nicely for some strokes and politely take treats from you if you have any! We are the best of friends so we’re always laying out together or resting our heads on one another, if youre really lucky you might even catch us grooming each other.
We have been at the centre for a while now as my sister was a little poorly and needed monitoring, back in May she had a little fit that only lasted a few seconds and then she was back to her normal self, since then she has had a few that the staff have witnessed but they never last long and she is back to her usual self in no time. The staff have seemed to notice a pattern with them happening when there have been loud noises or she is stressed so we would like a quite home with lots of space to live out our final years.
We are such calm sweet girls with lots of love to give, we have spent so long at the centre and as much as we are loved by the staff we would be so much happier in a home with a devoted owner. We hope someone will take a chance on us soon.
