About Me
Hello, my names Vaseem the very chatty tabby boy who is 4 years old. I came to the centre in November as my owner had too many cats after rescuing me and my friends from Oman! I did manage to find a home and I really started to come out of my shell, but I came back to the centre as I struggled to come back in the house after I had been let out as I loved the neighbours garden and didn’t want to leave! I think I will need to stay inside a little longer in my next home before I go out for the first time to make sure I fully know where my home is.
I am a very vocal boy so you will normally hear me before you see me, I will normally be at my door hoping to see someone to talk to or watching the other cats outside my window as I say hello. I am a bit of a shy boy as I am not used to having so much human interaction so although I am brave at my door I will run off when you come to see me, I will watch you from a far and the staff can tell that I want to be a friendly boy it may just take me a little while.
I would prefer to be the only pet in my new home as I would need some time on my own to settle in. I would also prefer older or no children so it would be nice and calm and I wouldn’t get spooked. I would love to find an owner who is happy to spend that little extra time with me to help me see that having a human isn’t too bad after all.
