Becoming a volunteer is very rewarding and helps us to rescue and rehome cats, rabbits and guinea pigs that need our help.

  • Reception and Donations

    In this role you will be the face of the Charity to visitors at the Centre, providing a friendly and professional welcome. Including keeping the reception area tidy and well stocked with goods, leaflets and paperwork and keeping the donations at the centre organized and ready to go to the shops (PM ONLY)

  • Animal Assistant

    As a volunteer animal assistant you would be responsible for assisting the animal care staff with their daily duties, handling the cats, rabbits and guinea pigs to improve their socialization and helping in the sluice room. (PM ONLY)

  • Fundraising

    This role would include attending and helping to organize events, street and store collections, collecting donations from shops and vets, or by helping with baking cakes or making cat nip mice for events.

  • Maintenance and Driving

    This role will include carrying out maintenance and gardening at The Centre or the charity shops, providing assistance with preparation for on site events and helping our driver by picking up larger items of furniture donated too us.

  • Shop Volunteer

    We are looking for volunteers who are able to help out an one of our charity shops, the role will include daily tasks such as sorting and organizing donated goods, helpful to the customers in the shop, keeping the shops tidy and helping to serve on the till.

    We need people to create knitted mice as toys for our cats and for us to sell in local vets as well as at events.

    Please see the patterns below if you would like to give it a go. We can supply most of the materials from the centre if you can collect.
