Hi ya, my name is Madeline, the beautiful black and white girl who is 10 years old.
I came to the centre in February as I had been living as a stray for a few years and the people feeding me could no longer keep me. I was then rehomed recently, but sadly returned as I had bitten the people a couple of times and I wasn’t happy living with their dog.
I’m a very chatty girl who loves to say hello as soon as you come in to see me, I’m a confident girly and will be straight up to greet you and rub around you for a fuss. I was a little wary before coming to the centre but I’m really enjoying having a safe space to call my own now. I had been known to smack at people previously before coming to the centre, but have been really good since arriving here originally and I have accepted lots of fuss from people, but obviously I do have that sassy side to me as I showed in the home I went to! So my new owners will need to be ok with that.
When I was returned, I had a health check with the vet and it was discovered I have mild kidney disease, so I am on some meds for this now and will be rehomed part foster for my kidneys, so the centre will cover the cost of my medication and any treatment I need for my kidneys.
I’m a homely girl who has always stayed close to home and doesn’t wander too far, I would like to live with no children and be the only pet, as I do sometimes like my own space.
