Hi ya! My name is Shera and I am a very scared little fluffy black lady who’s just a year old.
I arrived to the centre in the middle of March from another rescue as they had been asked to help as there were too many cats in a home.
I’m overwhelmed with all the changes in my life recently and so I’m finding being here very scary and stressful. I will hiss at you when you come to see me and if I’m tucked behind my blanket and you sneak a peek at me, I may also spit at you a little and just try to scare you off away from me! But with a little patience and calmness, I have let a couple of staff give me a few head strokes and I haven’t fully hated it! So the staff think I’m just a poor terrified girl and if someone could me a chance and put the time in with me, I would hopefully become a sweet, loving lady.
I’ve never been outside, so will need to be rehomed to a very quiet area. I have lived with other cats before, so could do so again and hopefully if I had a friendly, confident friend they may help me to gain my confidence. But I would like to live with no children and live in a calm, quiet, stress free environment so I can settle in nicely.
