Hi there, that cute looking black and white boy is me Ringo Starr and I am roughly 5 years old.
I arrived at the centre recently as I had been living as a stray around some nice people’s home for about a year and they finally managed to trap me and bring me here to find myself a home.
I can be hissy and grumbly when you first meet me as I like to act like a tough, scary boy! But I’m not really at all, I’m actually quite the softy who loves to get lots of fusses. If you sit in with me and are patient and calm (and maybe have a few treat bribes too) then you should hopefully be lucky enough to get me to come out and soon I’ll be climbing on your lap to get lots of love. But I do still sometimes get a bit wary and unsure and then I do tend to smack out, but I really don’t mean it. Food is for sure the way to win my heart as well, as I love my grub. Hopefully with a patient, calm owner and once I’m settled and happy in a home, I will become even more of a confident, loving lad, it will just take me some time.
I would be ok living with a calm dog, but no cats and for now no children so I can settle in easily and gain my confidence first.
